The Charles Lea Center's CES Career Prep – Employment Skills Training Program provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to develop valuable workplace skills through meaningful, hands-on experiences.
Recently, Career Prep participants assisted with the Charles Lea Center's Longevity Service Luncheon, helping with table and chair setup, food service, and room breakdown. Their professionalism, teamwork, and attention to detail helped make the event a success while allowing them to gain practical experience in a real event setting.
Experiences like these build confidence, strengthen job readiness, and provide participants with skills and work experience they can proudly include on their resumes as they prepare for competitive employment opportunities.
Organizations looking for assistance with meetings, trainings, or special events may be able to partner with our Career Prep team. Available services include table and chair setup, room breakdown, and food service assistance.
