What kind of WAGES do enclave workers receive?
Workers can be paid per piece produced or hourly depending on the work being done at the site.
What kind of TRANSPORTATION will these workers receive?
All enclave workers are picked up and dropped off by CLIC staff. Transportation is a FREE service for all enclaves.
What is a typical enclave DESCRIPTION?
Lemforder: ZF Lemforder makes front and rear axels for the BMW Z3 and Z4. CLIC provides services to pack axels and other service parts for new and old customers. The enclave is also a part of the subassembly process for the axels before they are sent to the assembly line for completion. Some of the skills these workers have are counting, lifting, approximately 10-35 pounds and the ability to stand for long periods of time.
Arvato: Arvato is a distributor for BMG. They personalize CD packaging for companies like Wal-Mart. CLIC refurbishes the CDs so they may be repackaged and redistributed. Some of the skills theses workers have include the ability to use scissors and box cutters.
Concept Packaging: Concept is a corrugated and specialty sheet plant, which die cuts cardboard sheet and boxes. The Charles Lea Center provides a variety of services for Concept Packaging to include assembly, laminating, stitching boxes with an air gun, bundling, stripping cardboard, and restacking. The possible skills required are some lifting, able to stand for long periods of time, able to use a air gun and some counting.
Total Product Destruction: Total Product Destruction shreds legal documents and destroys other types of information in multimedia formats such as CDs, VHS videos and x-ray films. Workers at this job site separate different types of materials for destruction. Some of the skills required for this position include the ability to stand for long periods of time as well as the ability to sort, lift and carry items.
The Charles Lea Center: This crew provides services in assisting our maintenance department for The Charles Lea Center, which includes carpentry, landscaping, painting, pick up and delivery. Some of the skills required for this position include ability to lift ten pounds or more, ability to use a pressure washer, ability to use tools and work in various weather conditions.
