Corporate Events
Parsons organizes a corporate event each month. Corporate events are programs where all the individuals come together to close out the theme for the month. These events allow the individuals to socialize with individuals from other rooms and everyone is given the opportunity to participate in each event. These experiences allow the individuals to showcase talents such as reading, dancing, singing and acting. Outside organizations and speakers are often solicited to boost the events. Previous corporate events include a Black History Month Program, Mardi Gras Parade, Wonderful World of Disney, Dance Festival, Parsons Fun Day and Hollywild Zoo Animal Presentation. Anticipated corporate events are a Fall Festival, International festival, Christmas Pageant, and Choir Concerts.
In September several zoo keepers and animals from Hollywild visited Parsons for the end of Animal Month. Several people were able to see baby goats, turtles and other animals for the first time. The staff members from Hollywild took time to explain to people where the animals lived in the wild and how to care for a pet. Everyone enjoyed spending time with the animals.
